Dr. Kanti Parekh: A Life in Food Science

Before there was Kwality Ice Cream in the Bay Area, there was Dr. Kanti Parekh — a Ph.D Food Scientist whose career was built on understanding food at its most fundamental level. For decades, he studied what separates good food from great food, what makes flavors work together, and how to create products that people genuinely love.

His dream was always bigger than a laboratory. Dr. Parekh wanted to share his family’s ice cream traditions with the world — using his scientific expertise to perfect recipes passed down through generations.
